Leadership Change @ LCPF

LCPF members:

Heather, Vicky and I would like all of you to join in welcoming Ted Ketchum of Northwestern Mutual as the new leader and coordinator of Lake County Prosperity Forum effective immediately. A big believer of the "Pay it Forward" concept, Ted has devoted his time most recently as leading the Opportunity Group(a sub-group) of LCPF and as a volunteer Career Transition Coach at Fresh Start of Illinois.

Ted has graciously agreed to step forward in leading the LCPF to the next level. We certainly hope that all of you will extend the same support you gave us in the 18 months since this group was founded and during which the group grew from zero to close to 800 members.

In our conversations with Ted, we believe he has the best interest of the group members at heart and has or is planning more activities which will bring value to the members. In his leadership role at the Opportunity Connect he has clearly demonstrated a high level of integrity and an unparalleled devotion to the success.

Ted will need a team of volunteers to help with the ongoing operations of the group, e.g., event planning, social-media activity & outreach to other networking groups. As he solidifies plans, he will reach out for specific help. In the meantime, if you would like to take on a more active role in LCPF in any of the areas just mentioned, please don't hesitate to step forward!

Furthermore we would also like to announce that Laura Menze, President, Life Quest Alliance has been leading the Opportunity Connect Group for the last few months and now hosts the group at Fresh Start of Illinois in Libertyville. Her passion for helping good people become great comes through in her coaching and workshops she conducts.

Heather, Vicky and I will stay on as support and advisors to Ted and his team.

We currently host a premier monthly evening event on 2nd Monday of every month at Mickey Finn's in Libertyville, IL. LCPF has also started a Morning networking meeting in March. The first event is in conjuction with SOC Gurnee and will be held @ Rhapsody Cafe in Gurnee, IL.
